Jesus wants to be Lord, ruling over every area of your life. When God is central in our hearts, He can teach us His way through every experience of life. By embracing Jesus as Lord of your life, you begin to see, choose, act, and take hold of life from His perspective. There is no end to the joy you'll experience in that place.

There are times when we feel useless to everyone, including God. We begin to forget that Jesus said we are the light of the world, whether we feel like it or not. Jesus said that we shouldn't hide lights under baskets; neither should we "hide" them by spending time only with fellow believers. Lights are most effective when they're in a dark place.

When Jesus sent His disciples into the world, He told them that people would find God by seeing the disciples' good works. Some may admire us, but our purpose is to hold out the light that guides people to God.

The devil will come with the temptation, and when we take the bait, he comes with the accusations. The Bible says the devil accuses us before God, day and night. But Jesus says, " Yeah, I know she messed up, but I love her and am interceding for her".

All around you are people who needs you. Your role might be to act as an evangelist sharing the Gospel, or to serve others as witness to Christ, or to be a good example of Christ at your work place.
